I am a Creative and Educator passionate about creating positive social change thrown into the social enterprise space. I co-founded TLW Pte. Ltd., manage, operate and provide artistic direction for The LOOMs Workshops. I believe in the human potential to constantly improve and surpass oneself. Art, design, crafting, an innovative spirit and unshakable growth mindset are the tools that I use to bring about the change I want to see.
The LOOMs Workshops is a social enterprise that provides education and employment for women through design-driven corporate workshops as well as the creation and sale of handcrafted fashion accessories, lifestyle products and homeware. Our self-development programme empowers women to do what they can with their hands, will what they dream with their minds and find passion for their craft with their hearts. Educated and empowered, they are partners in enabling their dependants.
We are a social enterprise working to empower women with education and employment opportunities. We provide customisable, design-driven craft workshops for corporations looking to meet CSR and other objectives. The workshops are a source of income and training opportunities for the women who prepare workshop materials as well as co-facilitiate the sessions. They are also our top revenue generator. We want to maximise returns from the workshops by identifying and refining marketing and sales strategies. One specific outcome is the creation of a strong sale pipeline to identify potential clients, convince them of the value of our service, convert them into actual and loyal customers.
