Singapore is striving to be a Smart Nation. However, the 'Smart-Connected Workspace' in the commercial sector is still not on board the Smart Nation initiative. Just like Smart Home adoption, we are currently finding it challenging to drive awareness of smart office to the public. Many companies are also trying to promote various terminologies such as 'smart workspace' 'connected/intelligent workplace,' and these terminologies are also confusing people. In addition, local renovation companies can mislead the adopters by 'shortcutting' the facts on how to get started, what does it do, and its possibilities. These automation/renovation companies neither understand the technologies behind it nor able to integrate with existing office capabilities, so their explanation is limited to what they understand. This leads to skepticism and prospects decide hold/cancel the adoption.
Our current challenges we need to address are:
(1) Build awareness that there is such concept as "Smart-Connected Workspace (2) How does "Smart-Connected Workspace" work
(4) Demystify the concept
Obviously we need to convert this effort to leads. Your creativity and understanding of general IoT will help you in building the right content.
