Drizzlin is a digital marketing communications firm started in India, looking to expand its footprint in the English-speaking world. The first stop is in the UK. The market is mature - however, we have deep experience and rationalised costs to win the market. We will be developing a business development strategy and working on some monthly sales targets. This project would be good for folks with a strong interest in sales and an interest in the subject of marketing.
Footloos is your coolest guide to island hopping! We need help in deciding which tropical islands to expand to next. We will do so by evaluating demand and supply sides. Demand side - are adventurous travelers like you, visiting the islands. Supply side - are local islanders providing amazeballs experiences during your vacation. Our task - to place it all on one map, analyze, and to draw a path towards your next island treasure.
This project consists of 3 phases.
Phase 1 - Demand Side
We will look at annual tourist arrivals to 30+ tropical islands around the world. We will study their nationalities, dollars spent during vacation, understand their interests, and try to evaluate how many of them are millennials like us, and how many of them belong to elder generations.
Phase 2 - Supply Side (I)
Next, we need to evaluate the depth of the range of experiences on each island. We will chose islands in Southeast Asia (in Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam) and Oceania (regions of Melanesia, Micronesia, Polynesia, and the Great Barrier Reef). Our goal is to understand which island offers the most experiences following Footloos criteria. This phase requires a lot of research and you will be guided throughout the journey.
Phase 3 - Supply Side (II)
This is the most exciting part where we actually select the most unique experiences from the providers who we believe to be the most reliable. We evaluate traveler reviews, the websites of service providers (including design), and actual content describing services provided. Numerous companies can offer the same island hopping itinerary on the particular island, we must pick the best. We will be communicating on a daily basis throughout this phase and learn a lot about each other's travel preferences. It’s going to be fun!
Okay, so we have a list of 33 islands. How do we know which one has a treasure hidden? We cannot ask the locals directly, so let's spy on them! We will start from the bottom by evaluating website traffic to hundreds of local service providers. We will continue analyzing online aggregators of the local experiences, and cross-check our findings with global leaders that feature thousands of travel experiences. We will crunch numbers, make forecasts, swim with sharks, just to understand how many pirates we should send to conquer each island. Land ahoy!
Both Augmented and Virtual Realities have been proven to be the technology that companies are looking for when it comes to: content marketing, event marketing, training and simulation, education, and more. As a startup with limited marketing, business development manpower and bandwidth, we are looking for innovative help to bring us to companies and schools out there. This role is especially suited for those who want to learn more about AR and VR, and also want to dive into the tech industry.
As a new startup, we are looking at placing our brand strategically on our social media platforms and creating the right kind of engagement with our potential partners and customers. An active social media platform with curated content will help put our brand out there for people to know and enquire about our services.
We are a new startup offering mobile car wash service. Our unique selling proposition is that our mobile car wash system is entirely independent. We do not depend on water and power supply for our potential customers. We are currently expanding and targeting fleet management service where we provide our service to clients who have a large number of vehicles that need cleaning. We are looking at a strategy to expand this sector better, and to also explore other areas in which we can step into.
We're a small startup based in Berlin and London seeking ambitious and outspoken individuals to work together closely on launching and growing the social media channels for our startup. We make the world's thinnest Google Pixel cases. The community of our customers is very interesting and online-present. If you decide to participate, we will provide mentorship but also give you some entrepreneurial freedom to enjoy. Great English writing skills are a must.
Two key areas that would be very helpful:
1) Research on job ticketing systems within corporate America. This study would result in content that represents the state of corporate America. Focus would be on ticketing systems used, number of users submitting tickets, time spent on tickets, confusion of context and more. The goal is to identify a true sample ROI that can be documented. The result would be a finalized study/white paper.
2) A content piece that can serve as a lead magnet for job ticketing. This lead magnet then becomes fodder for SMM and blog backlinks. Possible subjects include "The Problem With Job Ticketing Behind The Firewall" or "5 Ways Why Legacy Systems Are Letting Users Down."
